Father's Day Guide for under £20

Hello everyone!

Ok, how is it June already? I'm not even sure where May went! Nevertheless, let's embrace this month and celebrate Father's Day!

As usual, always under a budget, so let me know if you get any of these or what your favourite gifts are!

The Frugal Teen x

One thing I've noticed about Dads, is that they often end up almost taking the role of a taxi driver. Driving you here and there and "thanks Dad," *slams door* is something everybody has said and done at least once in their lives.

As a result, I thought this NOW CD "That's what I call Driving Rock," would just be so perfect! These NOW CDs have different music tastes available as well but it's a great way to liven up the car journey and change a little from Heart FM or Fire FM.

Price: £11.99

If your dad isn't necessarily into cars, then maybe he's into motorbikes. We can establish that "McQueen's Motorcycles: Racing and Riding with the King of Cool," is, well... definitely cool and perfect for motorcycle nerds!

We all know that McQueen's character always had an amazing car or motorcycle, but in real life he loved them too! This book focuses on the motor bike he loved and collected too. From images like this, to real life photos of his collection and details about his life in general too.

Price: £19.98

"PapaSaurus," by Stephan Lomp is absolutely adorable. The pages are all glossy and well illustrated with a lovely story too (won't tell you about it though, you have to read it yourself)!

This personally struck a chord with me as I call my dad "Papa" so I just thought it'd make a very thoughtful gift. Something that says I love you, as well as "I'll always be your little girl." Of course, this also makes for a nice little bedtime reading with a young one too.

There's also a MamaSauras edition if any mums out there have a birthday soon!

Price: £10.99

Moving onto something completely different, is this (brace yourselves) perfume, "Porc," by Peperami. This may seem like a jokey gift but it actually smells really good! It's a rather woody scent but not overpowering in the slightest.

It's a 50ml bottle so plenty to get through to get your money's worth

"The Greatness of Dads" by Kirsten Matthew is a great combination of anecdotes, quotes, pictures of letters, awkward conversations etc. that people have about their dads. It covers many topics like love, discipline, responsibility as well as funny memories and legacies.

There are quotes from famous people and not-so-famous so it makes for a very interesting read. Every page is a different layout, with some short paragraphs and other just a line or too. It's a brilliantly put together montage-style book that I couldn't recommend enough!

Price: £12.99

If your dad's a massive Sherlock Holmes fan then I have officially found the best gift he could ever want. Did you know that Gibsons Games have a Sherlock Holmes Detective Game?

I think it's awesome!

How it works is that at the start of each game, you read a case aloud (one of 75 possible ones) and then use your powers to try and solve the case and return to Baker Street. The board game is based around London so you get to move around the streets and visit various places to collect clues. You'll come across little plot twists throughout however, as some clues will be misleading!

Upto you to decide what to believe!

Price: £13.99

Another board game that I think would be an amazing gift is this Wembley game. This game will test your football knowledge as well as bring up the nostalgia of football in the 80s!

The aim of the game is for your team to win! The game starts on the 4th round of the FA cup, when there are 32 teams left. It's up to you and the other players to control your teams, including how you'll spend money on players etc.

You can have up to 12 players so it's time to get competitive!

Price: £17.09

If you have younger children, this might be one of the cutest little book to look over ever! "Happiness is... 200 things I love about Dad," is full of little illustrations, with one line phrases all about why we love Dads.

It's so relatable and you can't help but smile and laugh as a certain phrase triggers a memory from childhood or even later. It's a lovely book to look over and is so well produced!

Price: £6.99

Another book with a similar idea is "You and Me, Me and You," by Miguel Tanco. This book is more of a story-style, but it still filled with illustrations of father-child activities that we all love and relate to.

It's a different style but I love the details in all the drawings as well as the cloth addition to the book's spine. It's the little details that count you know? Have a look at the drawings yourself as see if you love them as much as I do!

Price: £8.99

Hope you all have a great Father's day, let me know hat you think about these products and what you got for your dad!
