Earn By Selling Textbooks
Following my last post on textbooks, I thought this would be a good way to talk about saving space in your home and earning some money by selling your textbooks, unless of course you have some strange sentimental attachment to them??
Check these sites out and see if this is something you could do:
- Fatbrain
You can sell your textbooks on Fatbrain by either entering the ISBN number in the website or scanning the barcode once you download their app... easy!
- Social media
These days, the power of Facebook and Twitter cannot be underestimated. Post pictures of the books online (and this can apply to anything) and ask if people interested to PM you
- Unilist
This is basically an "ebay" equivalent. Once your ISBN number has been entered, it's up to you to then discuss postage etc. with the buyer
- School/younger students
Enquire at college or secondary school for revision books and for textbooks ask the new students in your course or maybe sell them to your professors
- Amazon Marketplace
Obviously everyone has heard of Amazon but not many people use it as a platform to sell. It's not only good due to its fame but also because you only pay a small fee when you sell and not a fee to put it online.
Good luck and get selling!
