Get inventive. With what?
So if that headline made you curious, I'll be talking about how you can become inventive and creative with *badly done drum roll* wallpaper!
Fairly odd right?
Well here's some ideas that you can make yourself, for free by being imaginative and of course, resourceful.
1. Sample and a frame
This is soo simple and looks really good in my opinion. You can get frames in any size for fairly cheap in places like craft or hardyware stores, sometimes for as much as 80p for A4 if that.
From companies that sell wallpaper samples you can ask instore or online for any samples (I know that B&Q and Wilkinsons provide samples) and simply put them together.
I've had samples ranging from Marilyn Monroe to "Je t'aimes" and beach scenes.
These look good in any room of the house or even as home coming gifts, simple but effective in brightening desks or plain-looking walls.
This picture from Craftynest.com follows the same idea (although they made their own frame too)!

2. Wallpaper your stairs
For those who have slightly manky stairs with out of date carpet or the wood isn't as nice as it used to be wallpaper can be the answer.
You can get amazing results, I personally love it when vintage-looking wallpapers are used because that's just my style but hey you could go marvel for all you like!
3. Folksy
People actually make money from upcycling furniture using wallpaper and I think if you are creative and can find some items to upcycle for profit then go for it. Don't hesitate!
In a time that DIY is "in" people love items that are unique and personalised for gifts as well as for themselves, so have a look what's out there!
4. Anything!
As you've probably guessed by now you can upcycle just about anything by adding colour or texture on some wallpapers. The only limit is items to decorate and your imagination!
Here's some examples I love:
So that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed this post which is slightly different to the ones I normally do. I was going to put this in my DIY Page >> http://bit.ly/1WUr97o but I didn't have enough characters to write it so here's a separate post!
Best wishes
