Product testing for real!
This is my first post of my massive post-exams update, where I'll be saying what I've been up to, what freebies I've collected and more tips and advice for you all that I've been meaning to post for aaaages.
Today I'm going to talk about AMZ Reviews. I just think it's such a great site in allowing you to try new products for free in exchange for your short opinion.
I've got so many products from this site, I really can't credit it enough. If you'd like to learn more, I've explained what it is and how to register below.
What is AMZ Reviews?
AMZ Reviews is one of the rare sites who when claiming to let you test products for free aren't a scam! They are directly linked with Amazon and provide you with products to test for free or at large discounts in order to make them easily accessible for review.

Who can take part?
Anyone can take part in testing these products as long as they have an Amazon account. This is important because in exchange for the product, Amazon ask for a short review to be submitted on the product page afterwards.
How do you sign up?
The signing up process is pretty straight forward, first of all select the tab "Join as reviewer," and then you need to create a username and password like you normally would for any website.
From then on the steps are very clear, you will be asked to fill out some details and link your amazon account (as you will get the products through Amazon).
How do you get the products?
When browsing the products available to review (to see the free ones, filter the search from lowest price to highest), you will see pictures of the products, the percentage of saving you can make and a short description of the product.
To review just press the button saying "Review now" and it'll turn into "Review Requested."
As you see from the picture, there is an expiration date. This is the time left before the campaign ends. It is once the campaign ends that you'll receive confirmation of your review or not.
This can vary vastly. Sometimes products can be on there for 180 days or sometimes it's a 24 hour deal, so it's definitely worth checking AMZ Reviews daily.
At the end of the campaign, you'll receive an email providing you with a code. This code sometimes has an expiration date so once you get it order the product a.s.a.p!
The product will appear full price in the amazon basket but you just have to apply the code before you confirm your order.
What kind of products can you review?
There's such a large variety of products they offer on AMZ Reviews it's difficult to categorise them. I personally apply for fitness products, or makeup/toiletry products as they are worth more and make good gifts etc.

What to write in the review
Reviews are subjective of course, so it really doesn't matter what you write but I'd advise mentioning one or more of the several:
- What you liked about the product
- What you don't like about the product
- What you think could be improved
- Whether you think it's worthy of the retail price
Must reviews also insist that you mention at the bottom that you received the product free in exchange for an honest review.
