Essential uni checklist

Essential Uni Checklist and where to buy stuff... the hall version

It's exactly a week before results day (August 18th) you might be panicking about uni, or if not, it won't be long, so here's a checklist of what you need for university and where you can get it from.

For halls you will need:

- Bedding

Details: For a single bed, contains a duvet cover and a pillow case

Price: £8 (cheaper than Primark) with free click and collect in Asda

Why: Colours will go with all surroundings and reviews are positive

- Blanket/throws

Details: Available in grey or red, adds great comfort and extra warmth in winter

Price: Normally £4.99 but right now £1!!!

Why: On picture it has a £30 sticker so I imagine if worth more must be good quality!

- Bin

Details: As long as you're not fussy about colours you can get them in pink and blue or for an extra 50p in white

Price: £1 (or for a white one £1.50), cheaper than Asda!

Why: Most uni accommodation should provide it, but if not, it's important you'll need one for all those midnight snacks and drinks ;)

- Desk lamp

Recommend: This Devon Tripod Desk Lamp by Tesco

Details: Colour is stone, comes fully assembled and is compatible with light bulbs from all energy classes

Price: Reduced twice: from £15, to £10 and now £5 (so, a bargain)

Why: This was just my personal favourite but there are a few varieties of lamp at £5 in Tesco, click the link above to see others

Total: £15

Hope this helps, I will be making another post on kitchen-related items soon.

Good luck, hope this helps
